It will also be equipped with LiDAR to enable advanced driver assistance capabilities. For reference, the current Deepal S05 lineup offers a total of 7 trim levels.
On the exterior, the new model carries over the brand’s classic "Symbiotic Aesthetics" design philosophy, with an evolved iteration of the Stellar Wing design language. The upgrades primarily focus on the detailing of the headlight assemblies on both sides, complemented by a closed-off front grille and a newly upgraded blue ADAS indicator light. From the side profile, the model features frameless doors, semi-flush door handles and newly styled 18-inch wheels, presenting a strong fashionable appeal.
In terms of powertrain, the vehicle will continue to be fitted with a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous single motor codenamed XTDM67, delivering a maximum output of 272 horsepower. For battery options, the new model offers 56.12 kWh and 68.82 kWh Golden Bell Cover battery packs supplied by CATL, corresponding to CLTC pure electric ranges of 520 km and 620 km respectively.
Besides, the current model range also includes a range-extended version powered by a 1.5L engine. The engine has a maximum output of 98 horsepower, while the drive motor delivers a peak power of 238 horsepower. It is equipped with a 28.39 kWh Golden Bell Cover battery pack, with a CLTC pure electric range of 215 km and a combined driving range of 1,310 km.
