Lotus Cars has released official images of the Emira 420 Sport. Compared to the 2025 Emira Turbo SE, the new model comes with a lightweight handling package that cuts 25kg of body weight and adds 25kg of extra downforce. Meanwhile, its power has been boosted to a maximum output of 420 horsepower.
For the interior, the overall layout stays the same as the 2025 model, with a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central touchscreen. The car shown in the official images also features the optional Hand Painted Pack. This package adds Tangelo Orange accents matching the body color throughout the cabin, including orange seatbelts, air vents, steering wheel trim, gear shifter and center console panels.
Under the hood, the new car keeps the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine from the 2025 model with a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive layout, but with upgraded performance numbers. It produces 420 hp of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Both front and rear suspensions use double-wishbone independent setups. The car's ride height is lowered by 5mm, and together with two-way adjustable Multimatic dampers, it improves the vehicle's handling and driver feedback.
