As the mid-cycle facelift version of the second-generation Kodiaq, the new model will receive revised front and rear styling. Its interior is also expected to be upgraded to enhance intelligent features.
On the exterior, the new car retains Skoda's classic split headlight design. Although the body is covered in camouflage, we can still see that its front fascia has been slightly adjusted based on the current model. It features a thicker front grille, and the central air intake in the bumper has been changed from a honeycomb pattern to horizontal slats. For this facelift, the side profile lines are expected to remain unchanged, but new paint colors and new wheel designs may be added.
Most rear end details are hidden by camouflage. We can see that it generally follows the line direction of the current model, and a revised taillight design is not ruled out. The interior has not been revealed yet, but foreign media report that the new model will improve its digital and connectivity capabilities.
On the powertrain front, the current Kodiaq is offered overseas with multiple variants including 1.5T gasoline, 2.0T gasoline, 2.0T diesel and 1.5T plug-in hybrid models. The new model's powertrain is also expected to be adjusted, for example, the output of the RS version will be further increased.
