Toyota has officially released the latest teaser images of the all-new Toyota Highlander. The teasers display three badges on the rear—BEV, AWD and HIGHLANDER—while revealing the vehicle’s interior for the first time. It can therefore be inferred that the all-new Highlander will be equipped with a pure electric powertrain and offer dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions.
The cabin features a three-row seating layout. The front row comes with a standalone digital instrument cluster and a large central infotainment screen, with a separate function control panel placed between the two second-row seats. Ambient lighting is fitted on the dashboard, door panels and other areas, and the model is expected to be equipped with a panoramic glass roof, further boosting its tech-focused ambience. Judging by the rear teaser shots, the exterior will maintain a rugged design style, visible in the full-width taillights and sharp, angular body contours.
Up front, the model will retain the C-shaped daytime running lights as part of its family design DNA, paired with a trapezoidal lower air intake. The side profile shows an elongated body and wheelbase, paired with digital side mirrors and hidden door handles for a clean, streamlined look. The rear conveys a strong sense of muscularity, with the full-width taillights stretching all the way to the rear fenders.
