The interior of the vehicle will adopt an all-new design language, marking a significant departure from the current Hyundai IONIQ lineup on sale. According to previous reports, the new model will be built on the E-GMP platform and is scheduled to make its official debut in April.
Looking at the spy shots, the new IONIQ 3’s interior will feature a floating standalone central infotainment screen, while the digital instrument cluster will sport a slim, elongated design positioned below the front windshield. The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel looks quite substantial, paired with a column-mounted gear selector. It also retains a physical start button and dedicated physical keys for frequently used functions. Externally, the new car will inherit the design philosophy of the Concept THREE concept car, boasting dynamic lines and sleek lighting units—details that even evoke a resemblance to the Genesis GV60.
In terms of powertrain, the new model is expected to offer a 150kW single-motor setup as well as a dual-motor system (specific parameters remain unconfirmed). The power battery will come in two capacities: 58kWh and 81.4kWh, with a maximum driving range of up to 644km.
