More official images of the all-new Toyota Corolla Concept have been released. The new model previously made its global debut at the 2025 Tokyo Motor Show, offering an early preview of the next-generation Corolla. Its production version is expected to hit the market in 2026 or 2027.
The model breaks with existing design norms in several ways: the front windshield, roof and rear windshield form a seamless integrated unit, with sleek-looking A-pillars and a thickened B-pillar. It also features futuristic front headlights and a two-tier rear design.
Inside the cabin, the central control screen has been removed in favor of a return to physical buttons. The instrument cluster is seamlessly integrated with the steering wheel, while a standalone display is fitted for the front passenger seat. The seat headrests are rotatable and deformable, and the interior showcases a fusion of cutting-edge technology, new materials and generous space.
In terms of powertrain, the new model will be available with hybrid and pure electric options. Hybrid variants are likely to be powered by all-new 1.5L and 2.0L four-cylinder engines currently under development, which will boost fuel efficiency. The next-generation Corolla is set to deliver an even more refined driving experience, and a GR variant is also highly likely to be launched.
