The new model will still retain both pure electric and hybrid powertrain options, and is scheduled for an official launch in mid-June 2026.
As seen from the spy shots, the new car will adopt a rectangular headlight design, with dual LED headlights and daytime running lights shaped like the "five-bamboo" tile in mahjong inside, connected by a full-width trim strip in the middle. On the side of the vehicle, a sleek roofline can be observed, while at the rear, the illuminated effect of its taillights delivers strong recognition.
The powertrain of the new car is expected to share the same setup as the Grande Panda, offering both pure electric and mild hybrid options. For reference, the Grande Panda mild hybrid variant is equipped with a 75kW 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a 48V motor, mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The pure electric variant will come with a 44kWh battery pack that powers an 83kW electric motor, delivering a WLTP combined range of 320 kilometers.
