Kia K4 Sportswagon official images have been unveiled. The new model can be regarded as the successor to the Kia Ceed Sportswagon (SW).
The exterior tweaks of the Kia K4 Sportswagon are not particularly extensive. It largely retains the design language of the Kia K4 hatchback version, with only its rear cargo compartment elongated. As a result, the vehicle length reaches 4,695 mm, 265 mm longer than that of the K4 hatchback, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,720 mm. This modification boosts the trunk capacity by 166 L, hitting 604 L. In addition, the car will come with a power tailgate as a configuration option, enhancing convenience for daily use.
In terms of powertrain, the new model will offer two engine options: a 1.0T three-cylinder engine and a 1.6L four-cylinder engine. The 1.0T engine delivers a maximum power output of 115 hp, mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.6L engine is available in two tunes, with maximum power outputs of 149 hp and 179 hp respectively, and is paired exclusively with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
