2026 01/13

Based on the MQB Evo platform, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power output of 333 horsepower, positioning it as the ultimate performance variant of the T-Roc lineup.

In terms of exterior design, the new model comes with a more aggressive aerodynamic kit that sets it distinctly apart from the R-Line version. It features redesigned front and rear bumpers along with a revised front grille, while the rear end is fitted with a larger diffuser. Additionally, the vehicle rolls on glossy black 20-inch alloy wheels, paired with blue brake calipers and an Akrapovič quad-exit exhaust system—all cues that lay bare its performance-oriented identity.

While official interior images have yet to be released, the T-Roc R is highly expected to build on the R-Line version’s layout with sportier seats, aluminum pedals, R badging, and other sporty accents. For the powertrain, the model is projected to adopt the same 2.0T turbocharged engine as the Golf R, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a four-wheel-drive system. This setup delivers a maximum power of 245kW (333 horsepower) and a peak torque of 420 N·m.
