Official images of the Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake have been officially released. The launch of this model is set to fill the market gap between the Dark Horse and GTD variants. It is powered by a 5.0L V8 supercharged engine, boasting a maximum power output of 830 horsepower, with a limited production run of 300 units.
In terms of exterior design, the new car continues to prioritize weight reduction and aerodynamic performance. It will be equipped with an aluminum alloy hood and extensive carbon fiber trim panels. Meanwhile, the size of the air intake has been increased to enhance cooling efficiency. In addition, the vehicle comes fitted with newly designed magnesium alloy wheels, and comprehensive enhancements have been made to the half shafts, wheel bolts, and chassis system. Customers can also opt for either the coupe or convertible version based on personal preference.
For the powertrain, the new model is equipped with a 5.0L V8 engine, offering customers a choice between the naturally aspirated version (with a maximum power of 480 horsepower) and the supercharged version (with a maximum power of 830 horsepower). The transmission system includes a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 10-speed automatic gearbox, with the manual gearbox featuring a Shelby original shift knob.
