The XPeng G7 Super Extended-Range model has officially hit the market, with two variants available for consumers. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the vehicle features upgraded exterior tweaks while being equipped with a 1.5T extended-range powertrain. Boasting a 430km pure electric range and an impressive combined range of up to 1704km, it also comes standard with 800V technology and a 5C ultra-fast charging battery.
In terms of exterior design, the overall silhouette remains largely unchanged. The daytime running lights have been updated to a full-width seamless strip, with the headlight clusters placed on the lower sides, still retaining the brand’s signature X motif. The new model also gets a redesigned front bumper, lending a more rugged and robust look. Additionally, it is fitted with active air vents, which not only boost engine efficiency but also help reduce wind resistance.
For the powertrain setup, the new model is powered by a 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor, forming an extended-range system. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 110kW, and the electric motor churns out 218kW of peak power. Built on the all-round 800V high-voltage platform architecture and paired with a 5C ultra-fast charging battery pack, the vehicle comes with a 55.8kWh battery and a 60L fuel tank. It achieves a 430km pure electric driving range and a combined range of 1704km, with 314km of range replenished in just 12 minutes of charging.
