
The SAIC Volkswagen Passat ePro is expected to launch in 2026. Previously, the new model made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Adopting SAIC Volkswagen's all-new generation PHEV platform and the latest design language, it represents the brand's new-generation hybrid product lineup.
In terms of exterior design, the new model features an updated look, equipped with newly designed Tech Spirit LED headlamps, a through-type LED light strip, and an illuminated Logo, emphasizing electrified modern aesthetics. On the side profile, in addition to the elegance brought by the long-wheelbase proportion, the lines exude a stronger sense of power. The rear end is dominated by horizontal lines, fitted with wing-shaped through-type LED taillamps and a red illuminated LED Logo. The rear bumper is sleek and sophisticated, adopting hidden exhaust pipes and air deflectors, balancing technological sense and sportiness. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5017/1850/1489mm (length/width/height) with a wheelbase of 2871mm, offering 17-inch and 18-inch wheels as options.
For powertrain, the new model is powered by the EA211 1.5T EVO II high-efficiency hybrid-specific engine with a maximum power of 95kW, paired with an electric motor delivering a maximum power of 145kW. It will be equipped with a 22kWh battery pack, boasting a CLTC all-electric range (AER) of over 150km and a combined range of up to 1300km.
