Positioned below the BYD SHARK, this vehicle is the second pickup truck model launched by BYD for the South American market, which is expected to debut first in the Brazilian market in 2026.
Judging from the patent images, the new truck will adopt BYD's Dragon Face design language. Its large-mouth front grille and the chrome strip running through the top are very similar to those of the BYD Song L. The fog lamp area features a C-shaped design, and the rendered images show that the new model has a strong sporty style.
On the side of the body, sharp double waistlines can be seen, and the rear fenders exude a strong sense of power. In addition, it still adopts a crew-cab design. The size of the rear cargo box indicates that the vehicle has a relatively compact body and is positioned lower than the BYD SHARK. The tail of the vehicle is equipped with a through-type taillight design, and the tailgate of the rear cargo box can be opened in a downward-flipping manner.
The interior of the new truck will still retain BYD's family-style design. Meanwhile, it adopts a unibody structure and a double wishbone rear suspension. It is expected to be a cost-effective product that meets the needs of family use. In addition, the new model is expected to be powered by the fifth-generation DM plug-in hybrid system.
