Positioned above the BYD Han L, this model will serve as the all-new flagship sedan under BYD’s Dynasty Series. It is expected to be jointly launched with the BYD Datang (tentative name) in Q1 2026, forming a dual-flagship product lineup.
At present, the new car is still in the early testing phase. However, its exterior is projected to undergo certain tweaks to align with the design language of the Datang. The vehicle is likely to draw design inspiration from the Dynasty-D concept car, featuring a through-type light strip at the front that integrates with the headlights. Vertical air vents are fitted on both sides, and the car will also be equipped with active air vents, among other configurations.
The roofline of the BYD Dahan remains largely consistent with that of the BYD Han L, with a projected slight dimensional extension in size. For reference, the BYD Han L measures 5050/1960/1505mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2970mm. Notably, the test mule is fitted with 20-inch multi-spoke wheels, while all variants of the BYD Han L come standard with 19-inch wheels.
