Official images of the 2027 BYD Seal 06 have been unveiled. For reference, the current Seal 06 lineup offers a total of 12 trim levels.
On the exterior, the vehicle adopts a brand-new design style. Its closed-off front grille, paired with redesigned headlight assemblies on both sides, lends the model strong visual recognizability. Meanwhile, the model removes the lower grille on the front bumper featured on the current version, and adds air deflectors on both sides of the front bumper to enhance its sporty appeal. In addition, the car is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR and is expected to adopt the Tianshen Zhiyan B intelligent driving solution.
In terms of dimensions, the model measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan.
On the powertrain front, the new model features the 5th-generation DM system, retaining the 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain. The engine produces a maximum power output of 74 kW. For the drive motor, two single-motor variants with different power ratings are offered, delivering peak outputs of 120 kW and 240 kW respectively, marking a noticeable improvement over the current on-sale models.
For driving range, it will provide three pure electric range options of 170 km, 205 km and 230 km based on different trim configurations.
