Official images of the new Jeep Avenger have been released. The updated model not only features revised exterior and interior designs, but also adds new powertrain options and an 85th Anniversary Edition.
On the exterior, the new Avenger gets a redesigned grille that echoes the Jeep Compass, with an illuminated effect on higher-spec versions. It also comes with new matrix LED headlights and a revised front bumper. The crossover's capabilities are further enhanced with improved approach (22°), departure (35°) and breakover (21°) angles.
For powertrains, a new 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine is added, producing 101 horsepower (74 kW) of maximum power and 205 N·m of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine features a new block, pistons and high-pressure direct injection system to reduce internal friction.
The lineup also retains the 110 hp (81 kW) hybrid, 145 hp (107 kW) 4xe plug-in hybrid (all-wheel drive) and all-electric versions. The electric variant is equipped with a 54 kWh battery and a 156 hp (115 kW) motor, delivering a WLTP range of 400 km and supporting only 100 kW DC fast charging.
