In terms of exterior design, the new model carries over the Clean Tech x Elegance design language from the LF-ZC concept car. It downplays the brand’s signature spindle grille motif, replacing it with a closed-off grille and a trapezoidal air intake design that delivers a completely refreshed look. Meanwhile, the hybrid variant features an additional horizontal air vent above the grille to boost air intake.
A standout detail along the side profile is the two-tone finish on the fenders and side skirts, which creates a diffuser-like visual effect. At the rear, the vehicle is equipped with a full-width light bar, with an illuminated brand logo set at its center. For dimensions, the car measures 5140mm in length, 1920mm in width and 1555mm in height (for the hybrid variant), with a wheelbase of 2950mm. The hybrid variant rides on 18-inch wheels, while the all-electric version will feature 21-inch wheels.
On the powertrain front, the all-new Lexus ES will be available in both hybrid and all-electric options. The hybrid variant pairs a 2.0L gasoline engine with a high-output electric motor: the engine delivers a maximum output of 112 kW, the electric motor reaches a peak output of 83 kW, resulting in a total system output of 145 kW, mated to an E-CVT continuously variable transmission.
