The official images of the new AITO M9 have been unveiled. The new model comes equipped with six LiDAR units, adds a side camera on the C-pillar, and will also offer advanced intelligent sensing, powertrain, and chassis technologies. The new AITO M9 continues to be available in both all-electric and range-extender versions, with 5-seat and 6-seat interior layouts, and its overall dimensions have been increased across the board.
In terms of powertrain, the new model will still offer both all-electric and range-extender versions, powered by a new-generation CATL battery pack. The range-extender version is available with 60kWh and 75kWh battery packs, while the all-electric version comes with a 120kWh battery pack. According to previous filing information, the range-extender version continues to use a dual-motor setup, with a front motor maximum power of 220kW and a rear motor maximum power of 277kW — both improved over the current model. The 1.5T engine produces a maximum power of 118kW and uses a ternary lithium battery. The range-extender model has a declared electric-only range of 250km, 255km, 265km, 315km, 320km, and 335km, all longer than the current model. The all-electric version also sees a power boost, with a front motor maximum power of 220kW and a rear motor maximum power of 277kW.
