Cupra has released the official images of the Raval, which will be the brand’s new entry-level model.
Although the car measures just over 4 meters in length, it has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, breaking the space limitations of its class. The trunk volume reaches 441 liters, emphasizing practicality. The stance is wider and lower, creating a solid sporty look that doesn’t feel like an entry-level small car at all. The design follows Cupra’s family style, but sporty add-ons and matte paint make the new model even more dynamic. The Raval rides 15 mm lower than the ID. Polo on the same platform, with a track that is 10 mm wider.
On the powertrain side, the car is built on the Volkswagen MEB platform and offers four powertrain options. The base Raval comes with an 85 kW motor and a 37 kWh battery, giving a range of about 300 km, with DC charging power of 50 kW. The Raval Plus upgrades to a 99 kW motor with the same battery capacity, and DC charging power increases to 88 kW, enabling a 10–80% fast charge in just 23 minutes. The Endurance version features a 155 kW motor and a 52 kWh battery, with a top range of 450 km and charging power upgraded to 105 kW. The VZ high-performance version delivers 166 kW and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, going head-to-head with the ID. Polo GTI, with a range of about 400 km.
