SAIC Volkswagen has officially launched a new trim for the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan L PRO. As the latest addition to the lineup, the 300TSI Zhiyue Edition sees no major revisions to its exterior and interior styling, but comes with optimized equipment configurations. Powering the new model is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
On the exterior front, the vehicle features a full-width LED light strip paired with irregular high and low beam headlight clusters on either side. Its front bumper is equipped with a large full-width heat dissipation opening, matched with a three-slat chrome front grille. Vertically arranged air vents are also integrated on both ends of the bumper, further elevating its stylish aesthetic. In addition, the model comes with 18-inch alloy wheels. In terms of dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4735mm in length, 1842mm in width and 1682mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2791mm.
Compared to other trims in the range, the new variant is fitted with a 12.9-inch central touchscreen, a 5-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, and a 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, while supporting wireless in-vehicle connectivity including CarPlay and Hi-Car. Notably, this model does not come with the ID.Drive intelligent driving assistant suite, and is only equipped with 3 millimeter-wave radars, 2 cameras, and 8 ultrasonic radars.
In terms of performance, the new model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output of 118kW and a peak torque of 250N·m. The powertrain is mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT), with a combined cycle fuel consumption rated at 6.38L per 100km.
