Official images of the Yichi 05 705MAX Shenxing Edition, a compact sedan under Jiangling Group New Energy, have been unveiled. As a new addition to the lineup, the model focuses on updates to features and range to cater to different user needs.
On the exterior, the new variant largely carries over the design of the current model. It features a closed-off front grille flanked by F-shaped headlights, giving it a distinctive look. A subtle front lip and trapezoidal air intake add a touch of sportiness to the design.
Inside, the cabin adopts a wrap-around layout with a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a floating 14.6-inch central display, and a floating 7-inch digital instrument cluster—keeping in line with common EV configurations. Additional highlights include an EV residual heat automatic air conditioning system, an electronic column shifter, remote control via a smartphone app, Doubao AI voice assistant, and Level 2 intelligent assisted driving.
Under the hood, the car is powered by a drive motor rated at 165 kW, paired with a 70.38 kWh battery pack that delivers a pure electric range of 705 km. According to the official specs, the vehicle can charge from 30% to 80% in just 25 minutes.
