Geely has officially named its AI-powered all-terrain hardcore SUV the Geely Galaxy Battleship 700. The concept version of the vehicle made its debut at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, while the production model is expected to be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show and launched within the year.
Looking back at the official spy shots released earlier, the vehicle adopts a tough, boxy design. Details include a narrow front grille and what appear to be round headlights with a matrix-style internal light setup, giving it a distinctive look.
The new model will feature the self-developed GVMC dynamic control system, enabling it to achieve an 80km/h performance in the moose test. It is also equipped with an AI-powered intelligent four-wheel-drive system that can automatically switch between front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and four-wheel drive. Additional capabilities include crab walk, tank turn, run-flat driving, and continuous automatic obstacle avoidance. The vehicle has a wading depth of 800mm and comes with satellite communication functionality.
