Denza has released official images of the new Denza D9. The updated model will feature the second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology, and will continue to offer both plug-in hybrid and all-electric variants.
In terms of design, the new Denza D9 gets a revamped front grille with updated chrome detailing for a more premium look. The rest of the exterior remains largely unchanged from the current model, with the two-tone paint finish still available. The vehicle measures 5,250 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, 1,900 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.
Under the hood, the plug-in hybrid version is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine paired with dual electric motors. The engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW, while the front and rear motors produce 200 kW and 45 kW respectively. Equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology, the PHEV model is expected to achieve a CLTC pure electric range of over 400 km, with fuel consumption rated at 6.35 L/100 km when the battery is low. For the all-electric version, the front-wheel-drive model will be upgraded with a 340 kW motor, while the all-wheel-drive variant will feature a 340 kW front motor and a 70 kW rear motor. According to regulatory filings, the EV model will offer a range of 750 km and 800 km.
