
BYD will hold a dedicated launch event on March 5th. At the event, the automaker is expected to unveil its ultra-fast charging technology and roll out multiple models equipped with this technology. The BYD Song Ultra EV and the new Denza Z9GT will open pre-sales on March 5th, while the Seal 07 EV will officially go on sale the same day. The 2026 model year Yangwang U7, Yangwang U8 and Yangwang U8L will also make their market debut at the event.
The Seal 07 EV features a minimalist, dynamic design tailored for new energy vehicles, with a low-slung fastback profile that balances elegance and athleticism, alongside an all-new "Sky Purple" color option. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4995mm in length, 1910mm in width, 1495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm.
The Song Ultra EV is an all-new mid-size SUV, with body dimensions of 4850mm in length, 1910mm in width, 1670mm in height and a 2840mm wheelbase. Sitting significantly higher than the Song L EV, it delivers a more spacious cabin, and integrates the core design essence of both the Song L EV and Song L DM-i. The Song Ultra EV will be fitted with LiDAR, and is expected to come with the Tianzhi Eye B system, supporting advanced driver assistance functions for both urban and highway driving scenarios.
