SAIC Volkswagen has released official interior images of the ID. ERA 9X. Alongside the previously unveiled "Desert Gold" body color for the model, a brand-new paint finish "Enchanted Forest Green" is making its debut with this release. The ID. ERA 9X is a six-seat range-extended SUV with a maximum pure electric range exceeding 400km, and is expected to launch in March.
Its 15.6-inch ultra-HD dual-screen setup for the driver and front passenger center console delivers highly efficient human-machine interaction. For rear passengers, a 21.4-inch foldable overhead screen fitted with viewing angle compensation film expands the field of view, creating an immersive audio-visual experience. The vehicle adopts a six-seat interior layout.
The model features a rugged exterior design with a minimalist styling that is widely favored by Chinese consumers today. It measures 5207mm in length, 1997mm in width, 1810mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3070mm.
On the powertrain front, the new model will be equipped with an EA211 engine as its range extender, which adopts Miller cycle and VTG variable geometry turbocharger technology, delivering a maximum power output of 105kW. Meanwhile, the vehicle will offer three range variants across different trim levels.
