Spy shots of Bentley’s second SUV, also its first pure electric SUV, have been officially revealed. Positioned below the current Bentayga, the new model features a more compact body and will share the powertrain with the Porsche Cayenne pure electric variant.
Bentley’s first SUV, the Bentayga, was launched a decade ago and has since become the brand’s best-selling model. A full 10 years later, Bentley is finally set to introduce its second SUV, though the official name remains unannounced.
Unfortunately, the test vehicle in the spy shots is wrapped in extremely heavy camouflage – not only covered with numerous camouflage stickers but also fitted with decoy parts to mislead onlookers. This makes it nearly impossible to discern its true exterior design, with even the headlight shape unidentifiable (the lights visible on the camouflage are merely fake). However, the illuminated effect of the front headlights bears some similarity to those of Porsche’s electric models.
In terms of performance, the new SUV is expected to match the Porsche Cayenne Electric in approximate motor power and driving range. For reference, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric delivers a maximum output power of 850kW, a peak torque of 1500N·m, accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds, and offers a driving range of up to 623km.
