As a mid-cycle facelift model, the all-new Chery Jetour Kunlun iHD sees little change in its exterior. The front face still adopts a large-sized frameless front grille design, with an illuminable logo embedded inside. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width and height remain 4736/1968/1708mm, and the wheelbase is 2820mm. In addition, the entry-level variant of the new model is equipped with 19-inch wheels and keyless entry function, while mid-to-high trim levels will come with LED headlights, 20-inch wheels and powered trunk lid, among other features.
The new model has received significant upgrades in the interior. A combination of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control screen comes as standard across all trims, with the 8155 chip built-in. It supports CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar smartphone connectivity, intelligent voice assistant and more. The mid-trim variant offers 540° surround-view camera and wireless smartphone charging for the front row, etc.; the high-trim variant provides front seat heating and ventilation functions, etc.; and the top-trim variant will be equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), etc.
In terms of power, the new model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine delivers a maximum power of 115kW, the electric motor has a maximum power of 150kW, and the combined maximum power of the system reaches 265kW. The capacity of the traction battery has been increased to 27.2kWh, with a CLTC pure electric range of 201km. The transmission system is matched with a single-speed DHT transmission, and the chassis adopts MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear independent suspension.
