A set of spy shots of the new Chery Tiggo 9 has been exposed. The new car will be equipped with the Falcon 700 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and is scheduled to be launched at Tiggo Night on September 27th.
In terms of exterior design, the new Tiggo 9 features a fresh exterior look while retaining its large-sized front grille. The front headlights appear more striking, and large-sized air deflectors are reserved on both sides of the front bumper.
On the side of the vehicle, the text "I am a gasoline-powered car, and I am equipped with intelligent advanced driving assistance" can be seen. At the rear, the new car adopts a brand-new taillight design; Chery’s English letter logo has been moved downwards, and the rear end is equipped with dual exhaust pipes.
The Falcon 700 ADAS will be equipped with an end-to-end large model plus a WM World Model. As a relatively high-level advanced driver assistance system of Chery currently, it will enable functions such as urban navigation assistance, valet parking, and intelligent summon.
In terms of power, with reference to the current model, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, which delivers a maximum power of 261 horsepower and a maximum torque of 400 N·m. It will be mated with either a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) or an 8-speed AT (Automatic Transmission).
