The new model is expected to focus its upgrades mainly on the three-electric system, including increasing battery capacity and all-electric range, while the fuel consumption under low battery condition of the non-Yunian version will also decrease.
Specifically, the new model is expected to be equipped with a replacement 47.8kWh battery, with the battery energy density reaching 140Wh/kg, and the all-electric range under WLTC working condition will increase to 160km. Additionally, the curb weight of the non-Yunian version will increase by 60kg to 2950kg, while its fuel consumption under low battery condition in WLTC working condition will decrease to 8.43L/100km.
For reference, the current Fangchengbao Bao 5 adopts a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, with a power battery capacity of 31.8kWh, an all-electric range of 100km under WLTC working condition, and a fuel consumption of 8.85L/100km under low battery condition in WLTC working condition for the non-Yunian version.
