The new "Sayram Blue" color option for the Cadillac XT5 will make its debut on the evening of August 29 during the Chengdu Auto Show. Adjustments to the new model’s configurations and pricing are also expected.
In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts the latest family-style design language. The iconic large-sized shield-shaped front grille is retained, and the L-shaped headlight design remains a signature feature—meanwhile, the chrome trim strips above connect the left and right headlight clusters seamlessly. Officially named "Sayram Blue", the new color draws inspiration from Sayram Lake, a pearl on the Silk Road at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, featuring a pure and deep azure hue.
For the interior, the new model is equipped with a 33-inch 9K large curved display. Below the center console are through-type air vents, and the center console layout boasts a well-structured sense of hierarchy, while retaining the physical button area for the air conditioning system.
In terms of powertrain, the new model is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine paired with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivering a maximum power of 174kW and a maximum torque of 350N·m. The transmission system is mated to a 9-speed automatic manual transmission (9AT). The new model is also equipped with the Hummingbird Chassis, and currently, all three trim levels come with a four-wheel drive (4WD) system.
