
Chery has officially released an image of the Chery Fengyun X3L. The new model will be a compact SUV with a range-extender, set to debut on July 18.
The new vehicle features a boxy design with a two-tone body. It is equipped with vertical daytime running lights and horizontal front headlights, which are connected by a black decorative panel. The car uses the Chery English logo.
The wheel arches protrude outward, enhancing the boxy design, and the vehicle features low-drag wheels. In terms of dimensions, the length, width, and height are 4545 (4503) / 1950 / 1815 (1785) mm, with a wheelbase of 2783 mm.
According to previous filings, the rear of the vehicle will feature a "little backpack" design, a side-opening tailgate, and vertical taillights that echo the front daytime running lights. The rear bumper has a rugged style.
The Chery Fengyun X3L will be equipped with a range-extender system consisting of a 1.5T engine and electric motors. The engine has a maximum power output of 115 kW, and the vehicle will be available in both single-motor and dual-motor versions.
