The new NIO ET5 and NIO ET5T are set to launch on May 25. The new NIO ET5T mainly features adjustments to its exterior details. Specifically, it adopts a vertical cut design, paired with a closed front grille and a larger trapezoidal air intake compared to the current model. Additionally, the new car will introduce a new 20-inch five-spoke aerodynamic wheel design and a new exterior color, Far Sky Purple.
For the interior, the main change is the replacement of the central control screen with a horizontal one, and the adoption of a column-mounted gearshift, which further optimizes the storage space in the central console area. The vehicle also comes equipped with dual wireless phone charging areas, as well as repositioned dual cup holders, meeting the daily needs of users.
In terms of power, the current NIO ET5 is equipped with a dual-motor setup, featuring an induction asynchronous motor at the front and a permanent magnet synchronous motor at the rear, delivering a total power output of 490 horsepower and a peak torque of 700 Nm. For the battery, options include 75kWh and 100kWh packs, corresponding to a range of 560km and 710km, respectively.
