On March 26, Beijing Hyundai officially released spy shots of its all-new electric SUV undergoing road tests. Currently, Beijing Hyundai has three SUV models on sale: the Hyundai ix35, Tucson, and Santa Fe. The introduction of this new model will further enrich its product lineup. Notably, the car is expected to be unveiled on March 28.
The vehicle adopts a completely new design style, featuring a closed front grille paired with narrow, elongated headlights, which are anticipated to offer good recognition. Additionally, the car may come equipped with a star-ring-shaped through-light strip. At the rear, it also features a through-tail light cluster, creating a harmonious echo with the front.
Regarding powertrain details, the official has not yet released more information. It's worth mentioning that the company previously announced plans to launch a new all-electric model in 2025 and subsequently introduce three new energy vehicles, including both range-extended and all-electric models, in 2026. Additionally, their overseas sales target for 2025 is set at 80,000 to 100,000 units. To date, Hyundai's global sales have surpassed 100 million vehicles, with cumulative sales in China reaching 12 million.
