
The second-generation Haval Xiolong MAX is set to officially launch on April 16. Pre-sales for the vehicle have already commenced, with five models offered in a pre-sale price range of 138,800 to 176,800 yuan. The new car will come standard across the lineup with the second-generation Hi4 plug-in hybrid system and be equipped with the Coffee Pilot Plus intelligent driving assistance system.
In terms of exterior design, the new model adopts a completely new design language, officially named "Rhythmic Natural Aesthetics," inspired by elements such as the sky, sea, galaxy, and meteor. Five exterior color options are available: Far Mountain Gray, Ice Crystal White, Canglang Cyan, Phantom Night Black, and Aurora Green. For lighting, it features matrix headlights, which the manufacturer refers to as "Tyndall Light," utilizing 72 LEDs, providing a light flux of 4000 lumens, and a high beam illumination distance of 190 meters. Additionally, the front bumper is equipped with Peregrine Falcon Wing aerodynamic kits on both sides, further enhancing the sporty attributes.
Regarding intelligence, the driving assistance has been comprehensively upgraded. The new model will be equipped with the Coffee Pilot Plus intelligent driving assistance system, which is centered around visual perception. It can achieve highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), while in urban areas, it can learn to perform memory navigation. In terms of parking, it supports basic automatic parking as well as multi-level automatic parking.
