Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, has shared real photos of the Xiaomi YU7 on social media. From a photo with the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, it can be seen that the YU7 adopts a dynamic coupe SUV design. The vehicle's height is not particularly high, which helps to reduce the drag coefficient. Additionally, due to its lower center of gravity, it is expected to offer good handling performance. It is reported that the new car is expected to be priced between 300,000 and 400,000 yuan and will officially go on sale in June or July 2025, with a maximum range of 770 km.
In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi YU7 shares a similarly sleek and dynamic front end with the Xiaomi SU7, featuring a low hood that rises slightly on both sides, complemented by sporty air ducts on the front bumper, giving the car excellent aerodynamics. The headlight assembly does not entirely replicate the design of the SU7; instead, it features a new cross-shaped daytime running light, with an upper air intake and the main headlights below. There are also air outlet guide slots on the hood. The roof is equipped with a LiDAR sensor and a panoramic sunroof.
