The new model is officially positioned as a mid-to-large flagship intelligent hybrid SUV. Larger than the standard Xingyue L, it features a 5-door, 5-seat layout.
Looking at the side profile, the vehicle has a composed and imposing stance, with factory-installed roof rails and conventional door handles. Chrome trim outlines the window edges, the underside of the side mirrors, and the side skirts, adding depth and a premium feel to the design. The Xingyue L Plus measures 4955 x 1960 x 1769 mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm — placing it in the mid-size SUV segment. It will ride on 20- or 21-inch wheels with multiple design options, including a "dish"-style wheel that conveys a sense of prestige.
On the powertrain front, the Xingyue L Plus comes in both pure gasoline and hybrid variants. The gasoline version is powered by a 2.0T engine producing 213 kW, with a top speed of 210 km/h and fuel consumption of 7.97–8.15 L/100 km. The hybrid version pairs a 2.0T hybrid-dedicated engine with a 3DHT hybrid-dedicated transmission; the engine puts out 160 kW and reaches a top speed of 190 km/h, with low fuel consumption as its main selling point.
