Mitsubishi Motors has released the official images of the ASX VR-e, a new all-electric compact SUV.
The Mitsubishi ASX VR-e measures 4,315 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width and 1,535 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, placing it in the compact SUV segment by dimensions. It features hidden door handles and low-drag wheel rims, which differ in design from those fitted on the Foxtron Bria.
Inside the cabin, the Mitsubishi ASX VR-e is equipped with a 9.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen display. The overall shape and layout of the center console are identical to those of the Foxtron Bria, with only minor adjustments to interior trim materials and details.
In terms of powertrain, the rear-wheel-drive variant adopts a rear-mounted electric motor with a maximum output of 232 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Its 57.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack delivers an NEDC-rated driving range of 516 km. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant has a combined maximum output of 407 horsepower and a peak torque of 700 N·m, completing the 0–100 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds. With the same battery capacity as the RWD version, it achieves an NEDC-rated range of 466 km. Both variants support 134 kW DC fast charging, with a 10–80% charge time of less than 30 minutes.
