Scheduled to officially go on sale on February 28, the 2026 Changan UNI-Z PHEV is a model-year facelift, with the updates focused primarily on the vehicle's feature and equipment lineup.
The new model is expected to retain Changan’s signature "Zongheng Wanxiang" (Vertical & Horizontal, Boundless Visions) design language for its exterior. Its striking front fascia features a borderless grille composed of 56 parameterized winglet elements arranged in 6 rows, and a new premium paint finish named "Moonlight Silver" will also be added to the color palette. The vehicle measures 4730mm in length, 1890mm in width and 1660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2795mm.
Inside the cabin, the model comes fitted with a 14.6-inch central control touchscreen that runs the Tianshu Intelligent OS and an AI-powered large language model for voice interaction. It also offers a full suite of comfort and tech features, including 50W wireless fast charging, cloud-like zero-gravity seats, and Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
On the powertrain front, the new vehicle will be equipped with Changan’s latest Blue Whale dual-mode hybrid system, which supports both plug-in hybrid and range-extender operation. It delivers a fuel consumption rate of 1.3 liters per 100km and a combined driving range of up to 1250km.
