The new car is expected to adopt an all-new family-style design language, consistent with the all-new GLC Electric Version. Built on the MB.EA electric platform, it is scheduled to make its official debut in 2026.
At present, the new car is still covered with heavy camouflage wrap. However, its overall styling bears a striking resemblance to the previously revealed spy shots of the all-new GLC Electric Version—which has already been unveiled at the Munich Motor Show. The latter’s eye-catching highlight is its large-size illuminated pixelated grille, a design element that is also expected to be carried over to the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric Version.
Both the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric Version and the all-new GLC Electric Version will be underpinned by the MB.EA electric platform. Therefore, their interiors and powertrain systems are anticipated to share numerous similarities. For reference, the all-new GLC Electric Version features a 39.1-inch seamless MBUX Hyperscreen inside the cabin. In terms of power, it is equipped with the eATS 2.0 electric drive system that comprises a radial flux motor and a two-speed transmission system. The single-motor variant delivers a maximum power output of 272 hp, while the dual-motor variant boasts a maximum power of 489 hp.
