As Volkswagen’s flagship SUV, the Touareg has gone through three generations over nearly 25 years and will officially cease production in 2026. Before the Touareg takes its final bow, this flagship SUV will launch a "Final Edition" model.
In terms of exterior, the overall changes to the vehicle are minimal. All body details feature black trim pieces, and it is equipped with sleek large-sized wheels, giving the entire vehicle a full sporty character. Additionally, the front grille and the side of the body are both accented with the R Line Logo, and the roof is fitted with black roof rails. For reference, the current Touareg has a length/width/height of 4889 (4878)/1984/1697 (1694) mm and a wheelbase of 2899 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large-sized SUV.
In terms of interior, the vehicle still continues the sporty vibe of the exterior. The overall interior is dominated by black, with the words "Final Edition" embossed on the leather-wrapped gear shift lever. The interior ambient lighting has also been adjusted, and the Final Edition badge can be seen on both the passenger-side dashboard and the door sill trims. The front row of the vehicle will be equipped with a 15.05-inch central control screen + a 12-inch digital instrument cluster.
