The new model has received significant upgrades in its exterior, interior, and powertrain system, boasting an enhanced overall sense of modernity. Notably, it also incorporates an extended-range (EREV) powertrain for the first time, making it the fastest-accelerating Grand Wagoneer ever.
Exterior upgrades of the new model mainly focus on the front fascia. Its iconic seven-slot grille now features LED light elements for the first time, with a full-width light bar installed above it. The front badge has also been changed from "Wagoneer" to "Jeep". The side and rear of the vehicle see minimal changes, and 18-inch to 22-inch wheels will be available depending on the trim level, with the rear badge also updated to "Jeep". Additionally, the new model will come standard with Nappa leather seats and a 19-speaker audio system, while high-trim variants will be upgraded to perforated Nappa leather seats and a 23-speaker audio system.
In terms of powertrain, the gasoline-powered variants will still be equipped with a 3.0T twin-turbo inline-six engine, which delivers a maximum power output of 420 hp and a maximum torque of 635 Nm. The EREV variants, on the other hand, will adopt a 3.6L V6 engine as the range extender, paired with an electric motor that has a maximum power output of 647 hp and a maximum torque of 841 Nm—enabling a 0-96 km/h acceleration time of under 5 seconds. Furthermore, it will be fitted with a 92 kWh battery pack, providing a combined range of over 805 kilometers.
