2026 Model Year Buick LaCrosse to Go on Sale on September 19th

2025 09/17

The 2026 Model Year Buick LaCrosse is set to go on sale on September 19th. The new model largely carries over the design of the current-generation variant, with key upgrades focused on cabin texture and intelligent experience, while retaining the core powertrain strengths.

In terms of exterior styling, the new model remains consistent with the current one. The interior, however, is the highlight of this refresh. The new LaCrosse introduces a new red-and-black two-tone interior color scheme, paired with soft-touch upholstery and exquisite stitching craftsmanship. This breaks the dullness of traditional single-color interiors and enhances the luxurious ambiance of the cabin both visually and tactilely. The layered center console layout, accented with detailed metal trim strips, further reinforces the sense of visual hierarchy.

In terms of intelligent interaction, the infotainment system of the 2026 LaCrosse has been upgraded to Version V5.0, adding in-vehicle Amap (AutoNavi Maps) and AI voice large model functions. Previously, the 2026 Model Year Buick Envision Plus had already taken the lead in equipping this version of the infotainment system, and its intelligent experience has been well-received by users. This time, the LaCrosse will follow suit with the same upgrade.
For the powertrain, the 2026 LaCrosse still comes standard with a 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged engine across the entire lineup, delivering a maximum power of 174kW and a peak torque of 350N・m, mated to a 9AT transmission. The engine can intelligently switch between three modes: "Four-Cylinder High Performance", "Four-Cylinder Economy" and "Two-Cylinder Super Economy", effectively balancing power output and fuel efficiency.
