
Deliveries of the Polestar 3 began last summer, and the Swedish performance EV brand remains committed to continuous improvement. The latest updates, announced on Thursday, include various software enhancements that add new features and improve existing ones. Additionally, Polestar is upgrading the vehicle’s computing hardware, replacing the current Nvidia Drive AGX Xavier chip with a more powerful Nvidia Drive AGX Orin chip.
Among the new features are walk-away locking, wireless Apple CarPlay, automatic wiper activation when selecting drive or reverse, and digital key functionality for compatible mobile devices. The digital key allows owners to remotely lock and unlock the vehicle, start it, and share access.
Several existing features have also been improved. According to Polestar, enhancements include increased stability for the infotainment system, audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additional refinements include auto-dimming for the rearview mirror and improved sensitivity for the foot-activated power tailgate.
